Lab Servers

The lab has two servers: a GPU server for computing jobs and a file server for shared files. Both need a lab account, and UT VPN when you are off campus. The connection guides are on the lab wiki and need a UT sign-in.

GPU Server

Computing jobs over SSH.

Run computing jobs. Connect with your SSH client. Sign in with an SSH key: make one, then send Dusten the public key. Never send the private key.

File Server

Shared files and your home folder.

Access shared files through Finder or File Explorer using your existing share permissions. Your file server account uses your UT EID. Back up the work on a lab computer to your own home folder here.
